Leon, Monique and Meggie were born and raised in the Netherlands, but have visited more than 42 States of America in recent years to find the location for their plans. Traveling with a loved one who is dependent on a wheelchair or walker has opened our eyes and noticed that much is not accessible. That can be different, that must be different. We came to live here in March 2020 and have ensured that our "special" holiday home is fully accessible to everyone, with or without disability! We have decided to make our "American dream" come true. We have a gem here in Englewood Florida and want to offer everyone a stay in our brand new home, which is fully adapted for people with disabilities, the elderly, children, partners, who are now completely dependent on their loved ones for care, can here move freely and enjoy the tranquility and fantastic surroundings. We have cared for others for years, including our loved ones, and we know what an impact it has on their own lives as well as on that of those who need the extra care. We want to give them the relaxation that anything is possible here, as long as we know what care is needed. We can spare the caregiver if they want to spend a day at the beach or go shopping, to have some time for themselves, knowing that their loved ones are well taken care of and that they are in a safe environment. Our house is a house with 5 large bedrooms and 5 large bathrooms and 1 common room where we will serve a delicious breakfast every morning. In the rooms you have your own Keurig machine for coffee & tea and you have a small fridge with freezer. In the common room there is a toaster and a microwave and a large refrigerator. Next to the house is a beautiful outdoor kitchen, where you can BBQ or prepare something delicious. At the back of the house is a covered area with a view of the pond with fountain, where you can sit and relax after a wonderful day. Leon is our maintenance man and knows everything about the garden as he is a landscape architect. He also knows where best to go fishing and can arrange this for you. Monique is our regular aunt, if you want to know something and have it arranged, you ask her, she is the financial woman with management experience in hospitality. Meggie has been raised with caring for and is a Horeca manager/entrepreneur graduated. She will always try to do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
